anyway here we have my secondary fursona nikita. she's a cutie

i make a distinction between her as my fursona and her as a story
character a few times and that's bc there wouldn't be any such thing
as memes, vines or video games in naia, so yknow
but they are still very similar

Magic: She has a gift for water magic, but rarely uses it. It has very strong healing capabilities, something few people posses naturally. Hence Nica likes to keep her around the shop so she can help out with more gravely wounded patients. Due to how untrained she is in it though she easily becomes exhausted since she hasn't learned how to use her magic effectively, so there's only so much she can do.
Height: 169 cm in human form, around 60-65 cm in wolf feral and around 50 cm (not including spines) in moon critter feral
Physical appearance: it isn't super clear in the visual reference, but she's chubby - no immediately visible scars - nose piercing on one side only ()

She is the "smile through the pain" type of person. She doesn't like relying on others to solve her own personal problems and would rather deal with things herself. Due to how she presents herself, many people don't assume she's got much going on; she's generally the type to make witty comments and jokes whenever she can to keep the mood light, but under all that she's quite riddled with anxiety and self-doubt and doesn't actually cope very well with it at all. Things have a tendency to sort themselves out with her though, so she gets by.

Can literally not keep anything serious ever
The "always joking and making witty comments" parts is not an understatement. She's the type of person to as soon as the mood gets tense, she starts cracking jokes and a mean to unload the situation. She doesn't deal with emotional moments either, be it her own or others. She has a vague idea of where to draw the line though, and will gladly sit down and listen to others' troubles. Understanding irony and sarcasm is a must if you want to be friends with her, or else you'll get lost pretty quickly. Humor is her primary, and only, coping mechanism. Not a whole lot is off-limits to her when it comes to jokes. There are some lines she won't cross but she's also a firm believer in that everyone can joke about whatever the fuck they want as long as it's kept to just that: jokes.

Loves to banter and to appear tough, but is an actual sweetheart
Now, Nikita isn't the type to shy away from teasing jabs at her friends or some well-meaning banter, definitely not, but she is very caring for the people around her. As long as you don't give her a reason to dislike you, she'll probably care more for you and your well-being than what's good for her. She has a tendency to swing quite wildly between being super cheesy and just making jokes of everything. She'd never admit that though. She likes to pretend she's tougher than she actually is, and while she's definitely got the courage when she needs it the most, she can be a bit of a softie.

Once she likes you, she'll be attached like a leech
Be it her anxiety, crippling fear or rejection or the fact she just depends on the attention and validation of others to basically function: if she likes someone, she'll stick to them like glue. Now, she may be hesitant to talk to them out of fear of being in the way or just an annoyance, but she will take every chance she gets to talk to 'em and/or do things with 'em if she gets attached. And gods help them if they're nice to her. She'll never let them go.

Don't let her looks fool you
She isn't as extroverted as she comes off. She's actually quite reserved around people she doesn't know too well, even shy, and if she's comfortable with someone it shows. She tries her best to come off as friendly though, because despite how much she frets over it, she loves making new friends. Can't keep a conversation going to save her life though. She really can't. And definitely not start one.

Literally cannot sit still or keep focus for more than 3 seconds
In true ADHD spirit, the only way to keep her in one place for very long is to either, a) give her something really interesting and engaging to do, or b) physically restrain her. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but she's usually up and around wandering, talking to herself, exploring. She isn't much of an outdoors person, but she'll definitely go for little strolls when she's getting a bit too restless. She's also super fidgety, and has garbage memory. With literally the attention span of a squirrel, she has a bit of a hard time keeping up in conversation sometimes. Add to that poor hearing and people often find themselves repeating what they just said about 4 times.
