Your fav Princess is Jasmine, am I right? She is one of my faves too.
But Rapunzel is very much like me (her story also reminds mine, symbolically) so that's why she is my fave.

Yep, I adore Jasmine, she always was and always will be my favorite DP ^^ 
Rapunzel is cute too but sometimes I feel like she is little bit of a copy of Ariel. But definitely an adorable Princess!

I never actually saw Little Mermaid so Rapunzel's similarity to Ariel doesn't bother me. XD:
But yeah, sometimes Disney seems to "copy" their look and/or behaviour a little bit from some "older" Princesses... (Frozen Princesses looks very much like Rapunzel, their faces are probably same as hers...)
