Terragen is a LOT more than just "touch a few buttons and BAM" Sorry but it's quite a bit of work, and you need to know a lot, some things even go into math and science with these pics.

I am not suprised at the reaction you got for this, it is very well done, thankfully there is no rainbow this time and the lighting+lightning are both superb..love the ray tracing... I need to fav it too...

This sky is magic !! the sun rays and the lightnings !! wow !!
The water reflections area bit pixelated though and you should may be use the "sorta surf" plugin to add a shoreline effect ...

But it's a wonderful work !!!

but you should work on the bolts a bit
they look a bit fake
try to make them blend into the land

Nice work here, I like the lighting-thunder cloud in the background and the sunrays. The sky is very nicely done, the only thing I would change is the water, maybe a bit less choppy? Could just be me

Mmm wow, the water texture is lovely and I like how the sun shines on it. But my favourite part is the sky and the lightning, that part is awesome. Good work Chris !

Excellent work here .. I love the sunrays in this, how they shine over the storm .. the lightning in this one gives it an awesome effect. Very good depth in this picture .. makes me think I'm standing on top of a high hill watching this storm roll in.
