Description Its Done! After 4 days of working on and off when I had the chance it is done!! I have finally drawn basil and COlORED him! It's about time. I mean, if I colored Ratigan it's a law that I have to color Basil to. Oh man...that means I have to color the rest of the cast to..I have a lot to do.
Anyway, as promised I colored Basil. It was a bit difficult b/c of the cooring and...the chair! I officially hate that chair with a passion unlike any other!!! BUt at least the violin looks like a violin...sorta
If Basil doesn;t get a case soon, I think he might loose it.

Yay! You can now join the "Basil's Evil Red Chair" club! The animators were probably thanking their lucky stars it was part of the background and didn't need to be drawn hundreds of times per frame. The violin looks great, good work. Well, Basil's shoes are bit larger than usual. You need to think of them as long and narrow, kind of like clown shoes. Wait, did I just describe Basil's feet as....Bozo's? So anyway! A good way to practice is to view screencaps that show his shoes.

I'm loving Basil's desperate expression and lifeless limbs hanging down, too. He looks so pitiful sitting there, I bet he'd want to take a murder case for the humans if one came up! Good job!

thank you Yeah, it would probably been a pain to draw that horrid chair thousands of times.XD
Well, his shoes do resemble Bozo's shoes...but just a little.

I'd ask for a bigger salary if I had to draw and color the chair that many times. Yeah, if they were bright red shoes. The toe area is the biggest part that sticks out the most, leaving the rest of the shoe thin-looking with a small, barely noticeable heel.

Oh I love this one! Love the colors and everything! Gah I know what you mean, that chair is a PAIN to draw! But for me, it's those shoes that I hate with a passion (hence why I rarely draw Basil's entire body ) Anyways, lovely work on it, don't worry, the violin looks great! Haha I love how he's just sprawled out on the chair bored out of his mind with that expression on his face! I hope a case comes along for him soon! (Like Mrs. Hudson said in BBC's Sherlock: "Maybe a nice murder... THAT will cheer you up! )

haha, yeah, a murder case might be enough to raise him out of his boredom. Yes, those Shoes are evil. I hate how they came out, but at least they don't look like potatoes.(that's how most of my shoe drawings come out looking like.)
