Rogue and Nightcrawler(/Kurt) as seen in the final episode of “X-Men: Evolution” where Xavier got a glimpse of the future. I drew their future/older versions because I preferred their future outfits to the ones they wore throughout the main series. I improvised a little on Nightcrawler's hair because the screencap wasn't clear enough to be able to be accurate, plus he was sorta hiding in the shadows which made it even more difficult. I *think* it looked shorter when he was older, but if anyone has a clearer screenshot of that scene I’d love to see it and amend this image accordingly
Nightcrawler/Kurt is my favourite character *_* He has such a sweet little personality in Evolution, the episode about his past almost made me cry *whimper whimper* ;_; I’m not all that keen on Rogue tbh, but I absolutely adored the unique bond Kurt had with her by the end of the series so I thought I'd pick up the pencil and try capture that ^^
I wanted it to look like the style of the show, especially the colouring. Hope it came out ok!

My first experience of anything X:Men (outside of the movies) was X:Men Evolution, and Rogue appeared to be that moody 'go cry emo girl' type who had too much emo angst. While she did get more tolerable as the series went on and there was a bit of character development for her, she never did quite make it properly onto my 'like' list. If Evolution had not been cancelled and things had carried on as they were in terms of character development then it's possible I may have ended up liking her, but still, she'll never be able to hold a candle to Nightcrawler ^_~

god I loved this show as a little kid, Nightcrawler was the BEST. They made him so akward in the movie. It's like Ho-shit here comes nightcrawler FTW and then you see his face and your like They screwed him up! and only one movie appearance? what bullshit is that? This is so darling! I loved the last episode when they told Mystique, together, to leave them alone. They definetly do have the brother and sister bond. And I can definetly see that in this picture. You did such a wonderful job on the two of them. I really like Nightcrawler`s evolution version too, they really captured his true character in that

omg I know! Did you see the utterly pissed-off look on Mystique's face too when they bamf'd out of there after telling her to leave them be? O_O I was so hoping that was a sign for something to crop up again in the following series but then I realised there wasn't going to be one ;_; *sigh*

in the episode where Kurt finds out Mystique is his mom they trully looked like they wanted to bond. But no, they decieded they wanted to hate eachother
