Being proudly born Nordic myself, this pic has very much impact to my heart.
Loving history as well, I have studied mostly European history and I immediately loved Scandinavian history. It's hard to let go of originality of your own peoples history and ways of how they lived.
This pic's impact of how Vikings lived, served and acted most of their lives. Either dies as a warrior or live as slaves and farmers. Mostly I love how this embodies myth and stories of Norse Viking Berserkers. Warriors who didn't fear death or enemy. Ready to take all the punishment and pain while giving equally or double back! So this is why I love this pic so much. It reminds me how different we used to live and how our ancient ways departed from the others.
So big thumbs up and applause for this. You have a talent bringing history to life once again.

Ah. Well, what about some of the Norse's mythology? The Midgard Serpent and the Jotun Frost Giants/ Frost Trolls seem pretty interesting.
