I mean,I don't want to sound more of a hateful person but it is at least fine to see some famous people with such backstory in the past time weren't (most of them) jews. And I ain't saying I dislike jews but you know...those times where people used fork spears? And torches to fight against crime.
That was eerie.

Then again, this is a completely made up character. I just made her originate from the 1600's.
Otherwise, guess that's your opinion. Thing is the majority of people in Europe back then were christians, either catholics or lutherans. Secularism is quite a modern thing. Sweden for an example became totally secularized politically in the year 2000, that means state and church no longer cooperated.

Which is rather sad...
Even you can pretty much tell if God himself would provide a small assistance and guide to such famous people in the old times and trying to save some of them, like they were meant to be his right/left hands and still navigating through.
It is odd to question this logic but I guess these were the times you can't go back and have a small peek at them.

Quite frankly I do not even believe there is a god/gods. I believe rather in logic of the universe and science.

She herself was a catholic. Her father was before the marrige a lutheran until he converted.
That's the religious situation in Bohemia during the late 1500's to early 1600's for you.

Did her father like Shakespearicles, the TF2 universe's version of Shakespeare?

Living in Bohemia, I don't think he knew about Shakespearicles.

Indeed. To think, she began as a book printer, then ran from home and joined the Thirty Years War disguised as a man, died and then became a warrior saint. What a life...
