Description
On my way to visiting a friend who lives close to Essen-Frohnhausen station, I coudn't resist to stay on the platform for a few more minutes and enjoy the dense regio traffic. I actually didn't expect to shoot a gallery wothy picture there, but this triple made me change my mind

422-022 aproaches Frohnhausen whilst the regio in the back (left) will arrive at Essen central station in a few minutes. So will the 422 to the right. but not before having stopped at Essen West first.

Here are two more types of S-Bahn EMUs from around the area:

Class 1440 used on line S8
Class 423 used mainly around cologne to the south
