Have I uploaded this yet...? Don't think I have. Umm. I drew this the other day... the 22nd?.... nothing special. Probably my first Treasure Planet fanart of one of the characters in their natural form instead of their lionized form.. I don't usually draw people, that's why. But for some reason I thought only that would fit for this particular picture... I was listening to "Family Portrait" by Pink (that's what the quote in the picture is from.. excuse my writing) and this is what I thought of. It's Jim when he's 8 years old after his father leaves... Jim is sitting on the end of the dock. The quote explains it.Related content

I'm not sure what' stopping you from doing a new piece like this one, your current art is awesome! How about we do a colab and give this piece a new lease on life? With my lineart and your digital coloring it has the makings of greatness! I do Disney style art it's just not on my account yet.

Oh man...I'm sorry to hear that. I understand though, I've been working on editing a book so that keeps me on my toes. I hope you get some free time soon. I'd love to see some new works from you.

I heard the song "Family Portait" and it does match, after buying the pink CD and listening to it.... Anyways GREAT idea!!! I would have used that idea also, but you beat me to it...

*sniff* So saaad. ;__; I had an idea like this for a fanart too, but i haven't put it down on paper yet. Looks like you beat me to it. Anyways, pretty nice for a quick pencil sketch. The course texture of the pencil, though unintended (i think), goes very well with the overall atmosphere. Simple but nice all the same. And the lyrics really go with this pic. *sob*
