this is my final painting for my Composition and Color class.... this is the only one I've done on the computer, all the other assignments I had to do in oil, and were copied from master works... for our final we were allowed to create our own composition with whatever the hell we wanted in it. since we only had a week and I work a lot faster on the computer than with oil, my teacher let me do this in Photoshop CS.

uh. I got the idea for this when I was in class last week... around 4 o'clock the afternoon sunlight came through the door and projected to the opposite wall. there was only a box of light, it was cut off by a building across the way.. I looked over and saw my own shadow and thought that might be a cool painting. so there you go. the subject is kind of random, eventually I turned it into one of my characters I guess? *shrug* I had to do this kind of quickly so it's done completely in Photoshop... I don't remember the last time I did a digital painting like this without lines... it was fun.

I realize there's a part in an Evanescence music video that looks something like this. I have a screenshot of it. I didn't remember it until afterwards. mention it and die.

finals are causing me much pain D: at least this semester is almost over...
