haha, I didn't even notice this is the exact same date as last year....ah well, I've been doing this every year, just wanted to keep up the tradition.
I think the only time I ever draw Angel is for this pic, heh. I actually had to resize the old file, because this year's sketch is a lot bigger than the old ones... sorry about that. yeeep.
I believe all of these were done in mechanical pencil.

That is SO neat...how he changed so much over the years. He looks kinda 'Lion King-ish' in the 2nd and 3rd pic...but he became totally YOUR style in the last. Love it!

I miss your `04 drawing style. I think the one you have now is a little too thick for me, but whatever works for you, right? And also, I`m too lazy to find the exact deviation, but I loved your Tigrin cosplay. :3

*looks at this and reflects* Wow... This is a great little piece of work. You know why? Because, and I just love it for this, it shows that with hard work and persistence, hard work WILL pay off in improving, it really does...
I want to thank you for putting this up. See, I was feeling a bit bummed out about my own art, about it not coming along fast enough. I know that practice is what you need to get better, and I have been improving... But I have to say... This is inspiring to see, it really is. It's given me that extra drive, that final push that makes me want to move onward and upward in my art. Thank you Tigrin, thank you for showing this. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the motivation and inspiration to push on. Thank you.

Wow, gotta love these things, you know, showing so much improvement. It's so cool the way tigrin gets less and less "cute 'n' cuddly" and gets more serious, refined, older looking. I see your style hasn't changed as much between 04 and 05 as 03 and 04, but angel has improved so much! Personally, I like 04's face best, but 05's general posture and execution is better. To me, 05 seems to have kept the wonderful stylisation that is your own, but aqquired a more.... realistic...look.

Out of all of the sketches, I like Angel from 03 and Tigrin in 04.
But like Vekke else said, Tigrin gets older. Its a fantastic progression. Really shows a lot.

Wow! That's quite the evolution.
It's a wonderful idea, revisiting a specific concept like this every now and again to see how your skills have developed. Plus, it must be nice to be able to look back on your progress in this way. As others have mentioned here, I particularly like how Tigrin and Angel's growth and refinement is so evident over the years. (As is your obvious artistic improvement and the development of your style - it's amazing!) You grow together it seems - here's hoping you never stop.

This is really great to see. Not only has Tigrin and your art changed, but you've really come a long way in developing a style that is yours! I can see foriegn influences in all but your most recent. Foriegn influences arne't necessarily bad, and they help us learn, but it's so exciting when you hit something that's "YOU". XD Great work here. :}

Time goes too fast, I could of sworn it was the other day you uploaded this for the first time.
Anyway, I like how he looks now. For some reason he didn't look too feline last year, more...dragon-like in the neck and body. He looks cute and chubby now. Styles are weird in evolving on their own, though.
