This is near perfect I would just say the wings on the helmet ruin the practical design, they should be more like tapered, vaguely wing shaped pieces of comm equipment. But this is really awesome they should implement this in Cap 3.

You know what's weird ... there is a "new character" in comic books named "Blazing Glory" (I THINK) from the comic Odyssey (I THINK) and he looks just like that. They stole your concept, man!

yeah, I see the similarities. then again, I see some design choices adopted from other Captain America designs too. I'll keep an eye on it in just in case, but for now I'll take it as a compliment and/or coincidence. thanks for the heads up!

You inspired me to make my own... This was soo Brilliant....but if it's a movie concept, it's too far away from the original suit to satisfy the fans... the nosepiece, ears and abdomen for example.....But I can truly imagine this as a thourougly memorable costume if put in the comics....but capable of replacing the iconic one in the movie? IDK

i liked the First Avenger suit. i thought they did a good job at incorporating military and soldier design elements, while still keeping the essence of the character. although the Avengers suit was truest to the look of Captain America, and enabled a lot of flexibility, i thought it looked more like a decorative costume than a suit made for battle. i think Adi Granov's version ([link] ) of that suit would've worked a little better. it's the same design, but it looks like it's made of a harder and stronger material (or maybe it just appears that way because of Granov's signature art style). plus, i prefer the color palette.
