Aww, don't be sad. ;3; The ME3 ending didn't really happen! Shepard lives and these two get married, adopt a kid or maybe a dog (or both) and live to be old men who go around telling everyone about the 'good old days'. And no matter how old they get and how their bodies change Shepard still thinks Kaidan's butt is the best ass in the world and no matter how many times Shepard burns the food Kaidan still eats it and tells him it was good. Or, well. 'Not that bad.' And Liara's kids (she's having them) call them uncles and the always-young James Vega is always trying to make Shepard proud, even after making Admiral. Steve lives close to the Shepard-Alenko household with his husband (Vega or whoever) and drops by every now and then to tell about his projects (there are always shuttles to fix) until one day, he comes with the biggest grin on his face, and he says to Shepard, 'I have a Mako on my backyard,' and Kaidan facepalms when Shepard moves out of the door faster than the doctors thought possible.
