The previous cover page was insufficient... and inaccurate to where the story was going. Now, after a year of development for the story, a cover needed to be made to adequately set the stage. This is what I finally came up with. The old cover is visible below. The runes visible up there are from a full 26 letter alphabet that I designed and turned into custom brushes on my Sketchbook Pro software. You will see these symbols again, so if you look carefully, someone will easily decipher my alphabet. 50 points to the codebreaker!Here is the new coverΒ

Simply put this looks amazing, the arcane nature of the circles with the embedded runes and the clashing center which could be taken to mean that these two characters will at some point in the future clash. the images within the segments also tell miniature stories that add a certain depth to the characters, leaving me with questions about them and more deeply their individual motivations. My thoughts on the comic so far (at least as much as I can currently remember) is that like so many comics I have found on Deviantart have so much potential and despite being AU in nature I find myself drawn in nevertheless, although admittedly I am fairly easy to please when it comes to fan stories and comics. Anywho, you have an enigmatic main character who could be at this point the anti-heroine or the heroic villain, and perhaps it's my innate curiosity, but I want to see why she's acting the way she is and what is in store for her and clearly for my favorite purple unicorn. Keep up the good work.

I am very much willing to wait, quality over quantity and all that, I might occasionally grouse about things taking time, but I am usually just saying it in the sense of an exaggerated sigh. besides, I have a ton of fan fiction and such to keep myself occupied in the meantime. If there is one thing I pride myself upon its that I've always been very capable of keeping myself quietly occupied and don't need constant stimulation or center of attention like some kids you see/hear about these days.Β

Chapter one of AoS (novelized form) should come out some time this week or this weekend. I think my writer is done sitting on it. That should give all sorts of depth to Tempest and where she is coming from. I think you will approve...

Nothing so dramatic... the scene you speak of is the from the comical sidestory: βPinkieβs Apiecalypse.β It was originality part of the main story, but detracted too much from the main plot, so my ghost writer and I decided to split it off and make it a parallel side story. I suppose I should put a new scene there... Twilight is protecting herself from projectile pies, while Spike is gleefully leaping into the battle. π

I can't wait either. I am re-examining this story and thinking I need to move the plot ahead a little faster than I have been doing. Anxious to get into the action, ya know? Wish me luck on trying to move ahead sufficiently without radically going too far the other way on the pacing.
