Yeah, it's one of my favourite focal lengths. When I first got my camera I used my dads old 135 more than any other lens

:] your dad likes photography too

I'm the newby of the family to do photography! kinda sucks cos i cant really share it with anyone

I need to do some more soon, i havent really done anything good since oxjam! ive been working on my clothing line.

Is there anyway i can advertise to japan, like websites they use over there like myspace and facebook.

I feel they would make a big part of my market XD

I really like that photo you took of mike and hero when they are hugging, i reckon that was you 135mm lens too

ooooh also tell me where abouts you live, like the area and il look it up on google :]
do they have those strange futuristic cop cars?

I did attempt some photos at the forum in tunbridge wells recently but they did'nt work out very well either, i was thinking of getting a flash to bounce off ceilings and stuff! cant bring myself to spend that much money on everything yet

i got one okay photo, edited it and they are using it as their default so im happy anyway XP

what is your job at the moment?

My dad stopped taking photos for a long time, but thankfully kept all his old pentax equipment so I could use it. I think my interest in photography has got him back into it though, he's even joined an evening photography class!

The most popular social networking site here is probably mixy ([link] ). You need an invite to join though. I'm not a member but I might ask my gf to send me an invite then I can do the same to you. You might want to start learning some Japanese though!

Yeh that Hero and Mike pic was with my 50-135, at the 50 end though I think. Seeing as you like it I might upload it here too.

I live in Kobe (the home of karaoke), no futuristic cop cars, but it's a pretty futuristic looking city in some areas. I'm very near Osaka and pretty close to Kyoto and Nara too (loads of temples and shrines).

Good work with that one photo, I'm usually pretty happy with one usuable photo from a gig, especially if the lighting sucks. When you do get round to buying a flash, check out [link] it's the flash bible

My current job is Conversational English Teacher, basically the only job most foreigners can do here, but it allows me to live in Japan so I'm happy with it.

You're a lucky dude! I hope you're having fun there!
I'd like to visit Japan one day. I like their culture.
What did the cop say? "No drinking allowed?" Lol

Yeah it's awesome, you'd love it.
One cop said we couldn't sit where we were, so we just stood up and waited for some Japanese people to sit behind us, then we sat down again. As you can see in the next photo I posted, quite a lot of people sat behind us!

Thanks!

Yeah, I thinks it's a Kirin Green Label, 70% less calories or something..

Festivals are great huh? I just got back from Daimonji, but didn't have a tripod so couldn't get any pictures of the fire Kanji. There's always next year though!
