and are there any patterns for some of that or 100% custom? i've seen plenty of patterns but never so.. detailed.. even for peps...

Looks like it's probably fiberglass and maybe some foam. You would't be able to achieve all the shapes with just foam alone but it's great for more flexible peaces.

i dunno, helmets aside, i've watched the 405th forums builders build some insane things from foam..

I know foam can do amazing things, but most of the 405th stuff I've seen in this callable was usually fiberglass pepakura. Thou I could be wrong. The stomach has to be foam else he wouldn't be able to move.

thanks guys to let you know its 100% eva foam floor mats and just the run of the mill Walmart hot glue. the pattern is a little custom but I used a pep file that will cherry from the 405th designed he is letting people have a copy if you donate to there fan film dawn under heaven.

of all the parts that one piece baffles my mind!

the whole suit blows it, but that one part baffles me!

Ahh, well that explains the sheer accuracy of it. I've seen Pepakura foam(I.E. [link] ) builds before but never to this level of detail.
