GOODNESS. I think I've been working on this for, what, a month? Oi. Anyway, HAPPY SUPER-LATE BIRTHDAY, ~WhiteLadyDragon !!! This is the cover page for her Death Note fanfic, "Story of the Century," which I would HIGHLY recommend. It's pretty legit. Not a MarySue in sight, lots of drama, Matsuda awesomeness, and general emo-ing over ACTUAL PROBLEMS. And some not-so-pressing problems, too...
Anyway, I KNOW Erin, the heroine OC, is supposed to have a braid... but I'm lazy. DX I know... I'm horrible. I'm sorry. Add to that the lateness...? What is wrong with me? (That was rhetorical; see latest journal for more info: [link] . Oh, yeah, and my bike was stolen--speaking of messed-up-ness. I love my life.)

you know, i read this story when i was going through my "oh-my-god-i-wish-L-hadn't-died" phase. fell head over heels in love with this fic. hell, i even cried at the end. and i TOTALLY LOVE THE DRAWING!!! is that the picture of Rem in Erin's hand?
i rarely give fanfics this compliment, but i mean it when i say that this is one story that deserves a fanfic of it's own.

But yes, the EXPRESSONS. Amazing, you really captured their emotions: uneasiness, and uncertainity, and overall complexity of their feelings toward each other 
Poor L, poor Erin. I think if the story had ended differently they would have made an amazingly awkward yet adorable couple

Wow, well, I did TRY to capture their emotions, but I'm glad I succeeded. X3 I agree; they WOULD'VE made a great and awkward couple... but I think it's better that the story ended the way it did. It's so much more realistic.
