Takuma Ichijo from Vampire Knight. Drawn with pencil on printer paper, outlined in black Faber Castell Manga pens, scanned, then edited on GIMP.
Appx. 2.75 hours.
Don't own Ichijo/Vampire Knight.
I do own this drawing.
I'm actually kinda proud of this one (with the glaring exception of the tie). Drawn in the style of Matsuri Hino, original author of Vampire Knight. This was ridiculously hard to draw. I mean... wow. HOW DOES SHE DO IT?!?! Those uniforms are uber-complicated... and she does them IN EVERY FREAKING PANEL!! AUGH! I'd shoot myself.
If you haven't already, you should read Vampire Knight just for the uniforms. If nothing else. The story is win, the art is EPIC, and the characters are pwnsomely amazing. Or amazingly pwnsome; it all depends. ^^

Honestly, I think Yuki should dump both Zero and Kaname and just run off with Takuma, cuz he's amazing.
(jk about IchijoxYuki, but y'know... Kaname's a completely mental doof and Zero's a permafrown-wearing berserker. And Aido's too full of himself, tho he is adorable, and Kain is sweet on Ruka... and Shiki... oi, don't get me started about the family politics involved in VK, cuz they're pretty sick. No, really. Wait til you read to chapter 35.)

I have never attempted to draw the uniform and, quite frankly, am afraid of drawing them. THEY LOOK CRAZY HARD! I bow down to both Matsuri Hino-senpai and chu for drawing the epic uniform!

Yeah, this is the first attempt at the uniform, and it was a rather eye-opening experience... haha. Yeah, they uniforms aren't terribly difficult; just time-consuming, but there are some aspects that ARE hard--namely, proportion, repetition, uniformity (no pun intended), etc.

I apologize for the lack of Seizonsha... I am having DN overload and need to ease off it for a bit; I'm on a Vampire Knight stint right now... I'm writing an IchijoxOC story on ff. I will TRY and get back to Seizonsha, but I'm having a bit of writer's block on it and... yeah. It's not going well. I kept saying that I knew exactly what would happen once point X got there, and now that I've gotten there... I haven't planned how to get from X to Y to Z... TT^TT
