okay, so continuing my crazy series of Mockingjay drawings, these were just to make me warm up to Peeta/Katniss again. I mean really, Suzanne Collins almost seemed to be rooting for Gale for a while, didn't she? I wish Katniss and Peeta's relationship had been developed a bit more in the end, but oh well.

I agree with you on the whole Collins swaying towards Gale and not elaborating on Everlark thing. But they got together and had little Mellark babies in the end so I'm happy

i was hoping for someone to draw what she was talking about, with the gripping the back of the chair and getting all screw up. if someone didn't drw it soon, i was going to draw it my self. and i suck

I think the ending should have been fleshed out a lot more, but it was satisfactory. Not amazing, no, but satisfactory.
I love the drawings, though, they really capture the love! ^-^

Yeah, I was trying to explain the ending of Mockingjay to a friend of mine.
He said that the ending made absolutly no sense. XD

I agree with your descriptions in both this, and the first artdump! I did the same thing, sat and drew random pictures after I finished. I loved Peeta x Katniss, but in the last book, I almost switched to Gale. Peeta x Katniss just seemed to rushed in the end... But I am happy. I just wish there were more cute moments in the book, like maybe Katniss and Peeta having a Real-Not Real round involving her precious pearl...

I agree, I kept expecting something to happen with the pearl. But I suppose the lack of cuteness just reinforced the anti-violence message of the book... I wouldn't have minded more cute though
