Description Drew this a while ago, but it's still my favorite Piper/Jason moment (from before this couple got rammed down our throats - subtlety wasn't big for this storyline...).

And what no this isn't colored with crayons don't be silly...... heh.... cough.

I really, truly love this picture. It's so sweet. I really liked the Jason/Piper pairing, even though most people don't like either of them. Then again, I like most characters, lol.

Jason gets so much hate (I have no idea why) but I actually really liked him and though the Jason/Piper relationship wsa cute. Percabeth will always be my favorite though, no doubt! I'll be disappointed if Percy and Jason fight like most of the fandom is expecting. I actually think they would make a great team.

They were rammed down our throats. I think the whole thing is a brain fart. Nothing actually happens, yet the book makes it out to be some kind of crazy amazingness . LOL, if that made any sense. Anyhow, I love your drawing!

Ha, I love this drawing, and this couple, even if they WERE rammed down our throats a bit. And, of course, Jason has no personality. Which is why he needs Piper.

But, just to let you know, TLH actually took place in December...so they wouldn't be wearing shorts or flip flops...

That's a really good point! I drew this completely without reference, just for fun, so there are definitely some blaring inaccuracies. Thanks for letting me know though, if I ever re-draw this scene I'll definitely take those notes into account

I really lovehe way you drew the two of them flying, while the backgrpund scenery, not only detailed, but beautiful to look at--the choice of colors on their clothes is also nice--sort of striking against the blue water and yellowish, greenish land.

I have to agree--the couple did seem a bit forced on the readers. Percy and Annabeth was a great romance because we got to seem them both grow and fall in love with each other. Jason gets on my nerves a bit--he character is a bit bland, but he doesn't have all his memories, so that has to be taken in consideration. I'm hoping that something really bad will happen, a struggle for Jason and Piper to go through to make their love stronger.

And you took the words right out of my mouth! Jason seemed extremely bland, but maybe that's just cause we're used to Percy, who is extremely sarcastic and funny in comparison. Jason is much more serious, I guess. And I'm hoping for a struggle too - I'm betting on that girl Jason mentioned from the Roman camp causing some tension.

I know--I sound mean, but I do hope that this girl from his past comes up and makes trouble. The two of just seemed...too perfect at times, and then too forced at others. With Percy and Annabeth, it wasn't perfect. There were times when Percy got on Annabeth's nerves, and times when the former did not understand the situations with him, Rachel, Calypso, and Annabeth--but it was funny.

I don't know if you read the sneak peek for the sequel, yet, but if you haven't, try--it had that same sense of humor that Percy has.

You are insanely good with crayons. Yeah, one of the best things about Percy and Annabeth's relationship is that it took 5 whole books to actually happen. First book, kind of hated each other, but became good friends. Second, besties. Third, he's starting to see her "like that." Fourth, Rachel comes in, and chaos ensues, mostly from Annabeth. And fifth, they finally recognize that they like each other. It wasn't, "Oh of course we like each other even though we've only known each other for, what, 2 weeks?" Although that mist was pretty strong...

I agree, one of the reasons I love Percy and Annabeth is because they're relationship progressed so naturally. So far, Piper and Jason have seemed pretty forced, like Riordan's trying to create the fandom love he had before. I hope he knows what he's doing

I love the fact that poor Jason is oblivious that Piper feels that way about him. And the fact that Piper is worried he might have a girlfriend at the other camp! So cute I said it before and I'll say it again your one of the best Percy Jackson artists I know of! I love the way you designed Piper probably one of the most accurate looks I've seen someone do of her.
