How did you repousse and chase it all so well? Did you use the pitch method? Did you have to heat it up?

I'm still using a medium green pitch, which works pretty good. The German red pitch is a good deal stiffer I'm told and helps get better detail.
I did use heat to warm up the pitch to apply it to the piece. But the steel I worked cold over the pitch bowl. It was only a 16ga mild steel so I was relying on the shapes to get the steel strength.

Geeze... and in a practical 16g too. That hexagon texture on the bottom edge is my favorite bit
