Makes me remember those incredible old houses of last autumn... you promised to get more of some!

This church is beautiful... fits so well into this particular scene and landscape!

I think this is my favorite fall structure. The wood siding is so beautiful.

I always think, when I see such gorgeous photos, how beautiful it must be
to be there, taking them. Having the full perception of the environment
has to be mystical!
I personally like wood a lot, it has a very particular personality. With
siding you mean the... "drawing" in them (like the growing marks and such?),
or some treatment that time or crafters gave to it?

Thank you

By "siding" I just meant the actual pieces of wood. They have a beautiful natural gain to them

Oh, ok !!
I had no clue of the meaning of the word in that context
(native Spanish speaker, remember?)

Thanks for clarifying... and thatΒ΄s one of the beautiful aspects of
wood...

The weathered wood looks lovely against the autumn backdrop.

It's so charming! I love the atmosphere the church lends to the shot - awesome capture!
Also, its foundation appears to be really good, too...interesting that it should be abandoned

Thank you! I suspect it died due to a declining congregation as people moved off this ridge to the little towns below.

Welcome! And yes, that sounds like it would make sense.

It's a good roof, but old. The ceiling inside is an ornate tin one that people would pay a fortune for if a little less rusted.
