pen and ink? The lines are too perfect to
be hand drawn!

ALL of my work is done by hand with brush and crow quill. This is how inkers work. The illiustrator stuff just isnt truly inking. Thanks!

Chris Bachalo is my favorite penciler at Marvel- you really compliment each other and this piece is a prime example. Excellent work!

Chris and I have been a team for almost a decade now. When you work that closely with someone for that long, sharing something as intimate as ones art, you begin to develope a rapport. Just like old married couples can finish each others sentences, a long-standing penciling and inking team can finish each others thoughts. Chris doesnt need to pencil tightly for me to know what he means. Furthermore, hes always given me carte blanche in terms of finishing the artwork. Hes always had 100% faith in my decisions and really lets me participate in the process. If I werent actually getting to draw, to make art, theres no way I could have stuck with him or anyone this long. Most of the longstanding creative teams will tell you this same story. Its a rare and beautiful thing to have in this business. And yes, Chris is, most definitely, supremely talented. I think hes probably the single most purly creative artist in comics. Personally, I think hes a genius.

Very smooth, I find it interesting and an improvement in my view that your outlines are more curvilinious and less angular which was one of the aspects I used to like less on your inking but that's the past and now you're brush inker : )

Man, I've had the PRIVILEGE to see this piece in person and truly the scan does it NO justice! So if it looks awesome here, it's cream worthy in person!
