You really must visit Slimbridge it was the first in this country so I guess they've had more time to increase their stock and they've got beavers and otters too.

I was looking online on Sunday and its quite a way, but has a lot more to offer, so i think in the summer when the light is better for such a way, i will book into B&B for the weekend and have a couple of days there

There are so many places worth visiting in Wales it's worth a weeks holiday. Here's a few. Small Breeds Farm and Owl Sanctuary, Kington, Hereford. Dan-y-Rogof Caves, Dewstow Hidden Grottos and Gardens, Tintern Abbey, Brecon Beacons National Park and quite near Slimbridge there's Clearwell Caves. I think that's enough for now. If wildlife is your only interest then I'm sorry I've given you such a long list
Even just Slimbridge would keep you going for a week. I seem to see something I missed every time I go

thank you so much for the info, if i ever get up there i will for certain check out some of those places... although my experience of Brecon Beacons isnt a nice one lol.. i spent time training on there as a Royal Marine.. BUT I know it has a lot of potential outside of that enviroment lol..
