Eegad what is that? A bare mid-drift!!! Ok So I don't usually draw characters showing off their belly. But I wanted to draw a stomach!! The Human body is so beautiful... but of course I had to draw some animal features. I love Animals.This is my Gaia character. I needed to make samples for my gaia shop here So I made this pic. Plus I needed the practice with anime stuffs. Would say this is Chibi?
Do you guys know what it is called when a character is human and changes in to animals?? Like the Japanese name for it, or the anime name for it.?? Kind of like what Inyuasha is... ok so I have never watched the show, does he turn into a wolf??

anthropomorphic is a human with animalistic features - such as a tail or ears.
furries are animals with human features - like standing on hind legs with thumbs and so forth.

But really, it looks great, and I think the word you're looking for is anthro. I don't think it's japanese, but I haven't heard a japanese term for it yet.

I am not sure about anthro... People say that anthro is animals doing human things, This character is more like a half wolf half human... he hehe half & half like you and I. Well I saw in your guild on gaia in one of the rps someone said they were ____ because they were a half & Half and I am not sure if it was Japanese... Gee I wish I could find that rp.....

I dunno... Hapa means half. Oni means demon. neko is cat. I forget dog. But anyway, my mom calls us a bunch of Hapa Haoles (half white) so I guess what ever your character is, you could call it hapa _____

happa Haole is Hawaiian. Being married to a hawaiian and living in Hawaii I know that for a fact. Oh Haole is used often in Hawaii. It actually means for Foreigner, but now-a-days people use it for white people. Some people feel that it is a racial words to say for white people, because some people use it in a negative way.
