Description
The Clone Knight was a highly trained soldier used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, and were first deployed during the Battle of Geonosis were their elite skills were quickly noticed. Clone Knights would serve on the front line closely with their more Common brothers throughout the Clone Wars being phased out of service when the Galactic Empire formed.
The Clone Knights differed from their standard brothers by having gone through more intense, and thorough training making the already deadly elite typical Clone Soldiers into nearly unstoppable on the battlefield being capable to adapt to any on the ground situation.
Unlike the typical Clone Soldiers who are trained from birth, the Clone Knights are typical Clones who are hand picked by their supervisor for their outstanding skills in all regards.
Clone Knights have been compared to Clone ARC Troopers, and Clone Commandos, but Clone Knights are not trained for such special tasks such as the ARCs, and Commandos, and are meant to act as Elite soldiers on the battlefield fighting along side their Brothers.
Contrary to popular beliefs Clone Knights were not originally called "Clone Knights" at the start of the Clone Wars, and were instead called "Advanced Shock Commandos" or ASC troopers, but this name was given up quickly for "Clone Knights" as these elite Troopers were said to have all the reflexes, and skills of a Jedi Knight, but none of the tricks.
Virtually all Clone Knights were characterized with a serious attitude, and extreme caring for their brothers going to extreme limits to ensure their safety and it was not unheard of for these troopers to disobeyed orders if their felt it needlessly endangered their fellow soldiers.
