The main production variant of the Model-3330(S) prototype , the T30 had several noticeable differences from its prototype. The most noticeable change was modification to the turret's rear, this was done to increase the turret's internal space, placing the tank's radio in this new created space along with some other equipment. Other note worthy changes was the engine, it still produced 900 HP, although its thirst for fuel was somewhat reduced increasing the tank's range by 7 miles. Further changes was that the tank's sides and rear armor was reduced by 12.7mm to help the sluggish controls, and allow the tank to be better transported by railroads. Other than that, the tank was the same to the prototype, and the first model rolled off the production line in late 3329 (1944 equivalent) with the tank going on to serve for several years until in 3326 when the tank was upgraded.
The T30 would go on to be the base for many variants such as APCs, GMCs, ammo carriers, demolition vehicles, and armored artillery.
