it was ready because i had no motivation to design the fancy headdress i had planned so i just made a crown of thorns
... which ended up being no more than a few lazy scribbles. heh

trial and error! i found an amazing tutorial for sai right here bluekomadori.tumblr.com/post/9β¦ if you're interested, but i'm not a fan of Sai so i came up with me own technique on photoshop by closely observing actual watercolour pieces and trying to copy! i think the secret was in the pale base colours and rough edges of the brush. maybe i'll make a tuto tooΒ
