Good Omens has been an important influence in my life. I read the book in my teenage years, and I discovered Terry Pratchett through it. I love the characters, the dialogues, the situations. They have accompanied me for many years.

For some surprising reason that would probably never happen again, I never dived into the fandom.

When I first heard they wanted to make an adaptation I was distrusting, as is usual for me. But then, the more I heard about the project, the more appealing it seemed, and by the time the show was broadcasted my hype was above the sky.

And then... what can I say. There's quite a consensus among the fans (and many many other people who didn't know the story before the show) and it is that it's great. And it really is. It is not perfect, but it's all we could have wished for. And don't get me started on Tennant and Sheen's portrayals of Crowley and Aziraphale.

The thing is I read the book again before the show aired, so I watched it with a renewed love. Then I absolutely loved the show, and I fell in love with these two. Then I dived into the fandom. Which turned out to be -of course- a 30-year-old massive crazy thing. So I got inevitably trapped in a fever that lasted several months, I think (althought now it is all a little blurry). It was madness and it was wonderful, and I feel so very grateful to every single person who made it possible.
