In other words, "What worked for us should work for him, right?"Hahahah, did you folks ACTUALLY think that Wally Warbles was killed off for real? Well, remember this: cartoon physics. If it's a rubberhose cartoon, people find all kinds of wacky ways to come back from the grave. Although this one in particular? It's a very special case he needed to address.
I imagine Wally Warbles made the contract with the Devil to provide for, and protect his son. And he was wholly ready to tear apart the two little cups who practically tore him away from his baby boy! Except well...Cuphead was prepared for that.Ā
Wally's coming back! But whatever will happen next??

Although I kinda see Goopy finding a way to bring HIMSELF back to life. Just to show off! XD

Wally is my favorite boss design-wise, in no small part due to my love of birds, and it upset me a little on the inside that he apparently got turned into roast bird after his battle. I personally imagined that either Wally Jr. stopped the medic birds from eating his dad, or the cup bros got Wally to hand the contract over in exchange for persuading them not to cook him. Your approach is way more heartwarming, though, and I can't wait to see it continue!

I like to imagine that Cuphead and Mugman wanted to make sure ALL of the bosses got out of this mess okay! After realizing Wally made the contract for his son's sake, and realizing what the Medic Birds did, they swore they'd fix this! He won't get left behind.
Soon after him, it'll be the other bosses getting a much needed helping hand! And oh boy, all that work's gonna pay off!
