Description This is another one from Ascendancy! And I do have to say, this one took some time. Mostly because its anatomy looked so weird and convoluted that I had to figure out how exactly what I was looking at. Then I figured it out, and went from there!

----

The Kambuchka
Planet Andalayijaan

This race of aliens has evolved in the incredibly dense, almost liquid atmosphere of a gas giant. From the time they have evolved from microscopic, free-floating organisms, their anatomy became more convoluted with evolution. Now, a fully grown Kambuchka has four different "layers" which each contain a major set of organs. The top and bottom layer contain their sensory organs: a set of "vibration radars" which feel for minute vibrations in the air, and tell the Kambuchka everything it needs to know: what it's looking at, where it is, are there other living creatures around it, is this place dangerous to be, etc. The second and third layer are part of their digestive system. The bottom blue rods attract and absorb filtered food they need to survive. The top tubes serve as a gas expulsion system, which is how they move around in their atmosphere. While it would have a difficult time moving around outside of its gas giant atmosphere, they are well adapted to these otherwise inhospitable worlds, and populate them with as much frequency as the Nimbuloids do. Speaking of which, They and the Nimbuloids are on good terms with each other, and are frequently seen living in the same neighborhoods.

This Kambuchka dad is taking three of his strapping little girls with him to school. Which, coincidentially, is a giant swarm of juvenile Kambuchka getting together to collectively hone their sensory organs, as well as learning which organisms are safe to eat, safe to be nearby, or should be avoided altogether.

Honey, I'm taking the kids to skool. Ok, are you taking the car? Nope, I'm getting some fresh, gassy air today.

ROFL, yeah right??

"Have a good day at school today kids, and remember, pass lots of gas! That way you'll stay afloat!"

What I love about this series is that the everyday lives of other aliens look so strange to each other! XDD

Thank you so much!

The thing is that even when I didn't make them up myself, such as the Ascendancy aliens, there is practically nothing they have in common with humans. Yet, as bizarre as they may seem to us, they've got their everyday lives!

Thank you so much for commenting on this series btw.
