Description Carrie took the provisional license exam. And well...nobody exactly had high hopes for her.

The rest of the exam is a long story for another time. There is an explanation as to how she got past the initial phase despite its brutality.

But here...this was her secret to absolutely smashing the rescue exercises with flying colors!

P.S Barbara belongs to and Jacklyn belongs to !

---------------------------------------------

When the explosions on the field was seen on the screen, displaying (obviously fake) elders, mothers and children trapped under the rubble...Carrie's look of dismay and horror transformed into one of fast resolve, as she immediately turned for the door.

"We will start in ten minutes, so please use the restroom and take care of any other necessary--"

"IMMA COMING!!!"

The announcement had already finished by then. However, as the other students sat on the benches to unwind a bit, they saw the 12-foot tall girl virtually scraping at the door like a panicked deer. Even Barbara and Jacklyn had to rush over to drag her away from the door, as she kicked and whined.

"No, NO! There's friends out there!!"

"Carrie, get a hold of yourself, will ya?! It's not time yet!", shouted Barbara as she bear-hugged Carrie's arms in an attempt to hold her still.

"Yes it is!"

"No. IT'S. NOT. Carrie, look at me! Over here, look!", said Jacklyn as she grasped Carrie's shoulders, to look her in the eyes, already welling up with distressed tears.

"Carrie, please...didn't you hear what the man said? All those people out there are from a professional group--they've dressed up as victims, so they can test to see how we rescue people! In other words, they're pretending to be in danger."

"Sniff...huh...? Just pretending? But those are friends out there! Please, oh please just lemme save the friends!! I can do it!!"

"Carrie, Carrie, It's not real! You'll get to save all the friends, but remember, we need to do it right. For now though, just do what he says for now. Calm down and wait for now...there you go...now, there's some cake. Would you like some cake before we go?" Barbara said, as she and Jackelyn hugged Carrie until she stopped tensing up.

She nodded meekly in reply, still standing in front of the door, balling her fists and biting her lip as she whimpered. Jackelyn gradually let go and got a slice for her from the tables. All as other students looked on, bewildered. It was almost like watching two mothers trying to console their daughter who just watched something scary on TV. But they can't say they understand.

They've already heard her phrase, "Save all the friends."

-----------------------------------------------------

As soon as she finally got permission, she was among the first students to fly out of that door. Barbara and Jacklyn held onto her heels. However...she hardly set a foot into the urban area before stopping short. And turning toward a rather small and innocuous pile of rubble.

"Uh, Carrie? What're you doing?"

"Guys, lookie!"

Releasing some anti-gravity bubbles, she lifted up the rubble, to reveal a small "girl" (i.e. a very short, cross-dressing man) catching "her" breath and coughing as soon as she climbed out. Picking her up with a lanky arm, she proudly hefted her onto her shoulders as Barbara and Jacklyn dropped their jaws. And, altogether...they said,

"...HOW THE HECK DID YOU EVEN KNOW SHE WAS THERE?!"

"Heeheee~! I got gravy-vision!"

"Uhhhh..."

------------------------------------------------------

"You know, like gravy!

My eyes aren't good at seeing things. But I can tell that things are there, de, uh...de--depending! Depending on how much space they have, and how much they're heavy. Like, I can't see a tree well, but I know a tree's in front of me because it takes up a lot of space in front of me, so I don't walk into it. Like dis! qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-…

And with gravy-vision, I can see things by how much they wanna fall! Like these rocks up trapping these civil-lions!"

"Civilians.", corrected Jacklyn.

"Yes, that! Those two big rocks really, really, REALLY wanna fall, and if it does, it'll squish this mama, this kid, and a bunch of other people--14 more people--trapped by the rocks! I'll hold up the big ol' rocks, if you can scrape out the small rocks to get them all!"

------------------------------------------------------

The "girl" in Carrie's arms snapped his fingers, twirling his fake pigtail as it clicked for him.

"Ahhh, I get it...Gravity Vision. You're sensitive to things around you with gravity. And by extension, things with mass. That's more or less within the league of Uwabami's capabilities! Perhaps even better, as it takes into account structural integrity, along with appropriate action and teamwork taken to help the victims! Better than..."

In the distance, he saw the whirlwind coming from some...some shmuck with a thick burgundy suit, cape, and a single large, tan glove on his left arm. He seemed to create a sweeping tornado that carried away rubble and civilians alike, with "babies" and "businessmen" hurtling dangerously close to large rocks and rebar.

"...better than that."

"I...what the actual f--JUST WHAT?!" Shouted Jacklyn, baffled yet infuriated at this faraway scene. Obviously trying not to swear in front of Carrie. "What kind of a fff...fraggin'...ducking...big di--dunderhead evacuates injured civilians by causing a fff--flipping tornado?! I mean that's literally the one thing you DON'T want at the site of a disaster! I mean..."

A few more stumbling of the words, and then, after taking a deep breath,

"THAT'S REALLY DUMB! (Groans) ...I swear, some people's children."

"S-so did uh...did I do a good?"

"Perfect. Better than perfect. Keep it up!"

"You heard em! Let's save all the friends!!"

"PLEASE, SAVE US!!", cried yet more victims, with a building threatening to collapse on them.

"Dun worry!! IMMA COMING!!!"

----------------------------------------------------------

That test...Carrie overcame precarious ruins and collapsing structures. Jacklyn used her great defense to cover Carrie from external attacks, while Barbara was the muscle needed to fight back. All while Carrie's gravitational abilities helped carry the victims and her teammates around, so no time was wasted. She even picked up other friends, inviting them to the team to help save more people, providing additional eyes, ears and muscles.

Carrie, Jacklyn and Barbara kept all 100 points they started with, all the way to the very end.
