Thanks~ I was surprised to get so many comments in one day! Lately I get maybe... one or two new comments, if that. Not many people look all the way back to my ancient stuff~

I don't use the burn and dodge method for shading anymore, which makes a big difference in the overall look I believe.

I used Burn for shading, and I don't like how it came out, and one of the legs look really funny.

I tend to look at all someone does. I used to do it all the time back when I started here, and I'm doing it again, even though I watch a lot more people now than three years ago...

Yeah I agree with someone else on the page saying to use a bigger brush. I personally will usually set down a base color first, then use lighter and darker versions of the same color, set at different opacity's to get lights and shades. It looks a lot more natural I think. You also need to pick and stick with a consistent light source in a picture, that will help.

Hmmmm... thanks for the advice. I'll try to keep that in mind, because I use the same light source for everything I do with shading.

Thanks~ I didn't think anyone looked at pics that old from my gallery!!

I have chibi pics of Jam from Guilty Gear as well-- and a couple more of Millia, if I remember correctly.
