it's definitely a crazy show~ i'm not usually a fan of mecha anime, but this show has so much other stuff (like Yoko fanservice) that it keeps me thoroughly entertained. Most fans (myself included) prefer the first half of the series to the latter half. I can't really say why without revealing a big spoiler.
It's also just crazy~ it completely and utterly defies logic on numerous, numerous, NUMEROUS occasions. And it does it so blatantly and with such gusto, you'll either be laughing your ass off, or shaking your head in disbelief (or both xD)

I think I might've had a TINY inkling for yaoi back when I was a Gundam Wing fan xD;; but that quickly died. Also, Marron and Gataeu in Sorcerer Hunters kinda seem OTP to me xD
But would I actually read/look at any yaoi of them?? probably not~
Being a girl myself, I like watching another girl in there! I think for that reason I would prefer yuri over yaoi any day, but who knows~?
