Personality: Bairdotr prefers to roll with the punches, a free spirit with little to nothing tethering her down. Typically this includes other people. While she is friendly and overall agreeable, Bairdotr rarely shares much about herself beyond the Circus. Nothing is better than a loud time at the bar, where such things can be washed away with a stiff drink or solid right hook. Nothing is more thrilling than a fight, and Bairdotr is frequently chasing that adrenaline high.

Bairdotr isn't one to confront negativity in her own life easily, and chooses instead to act in anger towards these things rather than let them in. It's easier that way, she finds. Bairdotr is more likely to help other people with their problems than her own, choosing instead to put forth the image that nothing much bothers her. Sure, she gets angry, but it's usually short lived. Despite her overall easygoing and jovial attitude, Bairdotr has her moments of calm contemplation, displaying a wisdom that hints at a worldliness beneath the lackadaisical front.

TL/DR:

Bairdotr was born in Kaltbapart, a hidden glade near the mountains of Dal Dorum. She was being trained to be a Rune Knight by her clan’s Skiltgravr to maintain the bindings on a demon, but fell prey to it’s manipulations instead. Kaltbapart was all but wiped out after Bairdotr unwittingly released the demon, and rather than stay and face what she’d done, Bairdotr ran. For many years she was plagued by visions of the demon, but a bear spirit helped her drive it away.

Following visions Bear gave her around the lands, Bairdotr eventually ended up joining a circus troupe as a strongwoman. Though Bairdotr had long given up the idea of becoming a Rune Knight, she grew closer to Bear after The Surge and fostered that relationship through deep meditation instead, learning how to call the spirit to her when she needed them most.

Bairdotr has now left the circus troupe after following another vision of Bear that told her to stay in Lumivaara, saying many farewells to her found family over the last decade. She doesn’t know what she’ll find here, but come what may Bairdotr will find a way to make it home. She always does.
