Optimistic | Trusting | Enigmatic | Spontaneous | Reserved | Jealous | Selfless | Quick Tempered | Unforgiving
Pavi's personality ranges through a wide spectrum of feelings. The canine sees the bright sight of every situation, or at least she tries to. She believes that
everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, no matter their status or background. At times, this puts her in a position where she trusts too quickly
and too openly. It never changes how she feels and Pavi continues to do just that to this day no matter the wrong doings others have bestowed upon her.
Those who wrong or betray her however, sever a tie that takes ages to rebuild. Once wronged, Pavi is not quick to forgive. She holds a grudge until she's
not even sure why she was upset to begin with. Stubbornly refusing to pardon those who betray her trust, its usually very rare that she ever changes her mind.
While she's the center of attention, enjoying the life of a social butterfly, you'll find she isn't quick to speak about herself or her past. She doesn't pry into
others history, and so never freely offers any information on her own. She prefers to stay to herself in that aspect, though she's the first to throw
you a polite greeting. While she has an extremely easy going demeanor, Pavi is the first to get riled into a fit when her friends or loved ones are threatened.
The smallest disrespect towards those she considers close, or her faction, is met with rage that could rival the most street hardened gang dog. Don't
underestimate the ruby red she-dog's normally gentle attitude; she's far from vulnerable and she's fiercely loyal to those she calls friend. On the other
side of things, often times her fierce loyalty can morph into possessive jealousy. Pavi is petrified of losing those closest to her and so when their attention
starts to wander to others, she's often time found to be more snappy and reactive, waiting for the other shoe to drop and her to find herself utterly alone again.
Backstory:
Life for Pavi has never been terrible nor great. She’s always lived a life in the grey and honestly, she was totally okay with that. Her birth wasn’t a surprise; working farm dogs that did as they pleased when they pleased. So one warm spring night, Pavi and her siblings were born in the fluffed hay of an unimportant farmer. It was warm, her mother and father were there and they had a roof over their heads.
Pavi grew upon the farm, rough housing with her siblings and occasionally starting trouble with the farm animals. One by one, her siblings left via adoption. It was sad on those days as Pavi watched her closest friends and litter-mates headed to their new homes. One day, it would be her turn, her mother would tell her. Though that day never came.
Dynamics upon the farm changed. The grizzled man who had run it had passed, his nephew taking over. He was a hard city man, and the farm animals over heard that he was selling the farm. Pavi’s mother begged her father to leave with them, but the stubborn work dog wouldn’t leave his farm. So, in the best interest of her daughter, Pavi’s mother took her and left. The trip was long and not always comfortable, but eventually they made it to Canidale.
Pavi’s mother found an old friend, now comfortably seated within the stray faction of the city, and told them her story. From that day on, the two were welcomed into the group and taken care of. After her mother passed, Pavi elected to still remain with the strays, never truly knowing a human love and so not vying for the life of a pet. She was content with her stray family and closest friends. To this day, the ginger mutt wanders the streets. Aside from the various market owners who toss her scraps, she stays to herself and her kind, blissfully unaware of hardship and utterly content with her life.
