Yes, Axel's a Prince. I've had that idea ever since I watched Madagascar 2. Didn't really have that much time to think of a comic for it until now.

As a prince, Axel is expected(or subjected) to be disciplined, responsible and authoritative, just like his father. However, all Axel wants to do is party and explore the world. He knows that he'll be inheriting the crown someday, but right now he wants to experience all life has to offer. His father does let Axel do as he please most of the time, as long as he is with his bodyguard/best friend, Chance Arxarcis.
Axel often sneaks away when Chance isn't looking (much to Chance's dismay). Having a overprotective bodyguard can make you do that. Axel happens to stumble upon Kouya and they have a drink together. Unfortunately, Axel has low tolerance against alcohol making him drunk with only a few bottles of beer.

"Hreidr" is the Kingdom where Chance and Axel comes from. It's a neighboring country of Kouya/Ruji's country. (I don't have a name for that atm. Sorry.) Hreidr is an ancient norse word meaning "nest/home".

Also, Kouya's disinterest on nobles can be traced back to his time as a soldier.
Oh, and Axel still has a secret. Well, a family secret...

Attempted to do a black and white comic strip this time. Shading seems to be easier when it's just black and white. Well...grayscale, I suppose.
