You are completely correct about what you say in that 'You may leave Titanic, but she never leaves you'. Quite akin to what I say:
"Once Titanic finds you, she will never let you go." I hope you are interested forever. I am a dedicated lover of Titanic and her lesser known sister RMS Olympic. If you don't already know of Olympic, read a little on her too. She has had a fascinating life that I hope to make sure won't be cast away in the History of Forgotten.

That is an awesome picture! Love it.
I like the movie too, but I'm more interested in the real Titanic and the historical facts behind it than the movie. Titanic inspired me to look into her story and that of other ships that have went down. ^^.
Anyway, I love your picture! Really well done. ^_^

I think I'll add you to my watch list. Every picture of yours I click, I love and your descriptions are always so... intuitive.
Keep it up, my friend. And definitely keep up Titanic. If something inspires you, even if only for a moment, you're right- it becomes part of you, and you should most certainly follow this as best you can, no matter what anyone says.
Lovely work. Hope to see more soon.

Glad we're on the same page here.
Titanic (the ship more than the movie) has cost me one friendship I thought would last my entire life.
In my grade and the grade below it, I have a reputation of "Titanic girl". People who don't know my name see my face and say "TITANIC!"
My parents like it.
Mom more than dad. I mean seriously... Leo! XD
But they tell me that it's just this silly little phase of my life I'm going to eventually get over, and they seriously don't understand. Titanic is just... such a huge, wonderful, completely Titanic part of my life that doesn't really leave me, no matter how else my interests shift *coughjasonlevine*.
Well said.

There's people all over the world who see Titanic as a very special and unique part of their life. There's people who make their entire living associated with Titanic such as authors, historians, exhibit owners...whatever the reason is, we're drawn to the story, the history, the tragedy, and we want it to live on.
Maybe your parents dont have something like Titanic that they can feel passionate about. I wouldnt try to convince your parents that it's imporatant to you, because at some point in your life, you have to follow your own dreams not theirs.
People in my grade and other grades know me for Titanic too! X3 My friends even call me when something Titanic related is on tv. And people know me as "Titanic Gal" *points at name in the corner*
I'm with ya my Titanic Friend! ^^

I couldn't agree with you more. I was 13 (and had not yet seen the movie) before I realized how much minutiae about the Titanic I knew like the back of my hand, and a lot of the time it feels like a part of me. I loved the movie, too, because it made the ship and all its ambience come to life outside of my imagination. The ship of dreams...so true, and even when it's gone, it lives on IN dreams.

FINNALLY!!!! someone else who likes the ship. i get so sick of telling people i like titanic and getting the response "i do too that sex sene was really hot". OH THAT BURNS ME UP! that is why in my story i'm writing on my deveian art page, called THE HEARSE AND HIS GRIFFIN, most of the story is from the ship's point of view...you might like it.
