Apotheika, the Chooser. I wish I'd had more time to develop her as a... more force than person, but she is a person. In brief, she is the agent of a yet-unrevealed power who deliberately sends her to attack-- sort of-- installations and other locations with decent defense that includes individualized vigilantes/agents below a certain level of power and capability. She teleports or otherwise forces her way in, mostly to inflict what amounts to nasty graffiti while making sure to damage important systems/etc. along the way, such that no one can afford to ignore her.

(SWOLE Earth does not at this time know most of this; she is obscure, and in many ways newly-remade. Even Talgyx and Jeni haven't been able to discover much, not that she's left much evidence behind to analyze)

Apotheika is not a nice person, even for someone who isn't entirely a person, and while she won't directly attack someone who hasn't attacked her, that doesn't stop her from making threatening gestures and a variety of fear-gathering techniques to force such an attack. She kills anyone who attacks her that she can, primarily by thrusting her spear through their heart. On at least two known occasions, however, this has led to metahuman incipiating triggers (of very similar kinds), and after she's stabbed the correct "candidate," she leaves, sometimes doing no more than knocking attackers aside. Her name was screamed in nightmares of the various mystics with foresight of various kinds-- "Apotheika, the Chooser! SOON SHE COMES!" This rapidly became "Apotheika, the Chooser! SHE COMES! SHE COMES! SHE COMES!"

Apotheika's presence here doesn't lie easy with me, because, well, she's a rapist and a user, but not because of her point on the spectrum. She does so because she is a user and cruel, not because of how she approaches love, sex, and gender. I don't really have any others who fit her particular bill, though, and this is true: representation is not about just having heroes, even once you get past the WE ARE SUPER BECAUSE OF THIS PARTICULAR PART OF US! wish fulfillment. It's about being a part of the world as a whole; of being present in the background, or advertisements. To be a hero without having it so relate-- and more importantly, to have the ability to be evil, too.

Just not because of that part of who they are.

I do have to wonder if my "TV-showing of an R-rated movie or topics" "coincidental modesty" is working here; I tried to leave nothing showing that wouldn't on a string bikini.
