my design for the Alien from ALIEN 3.I desided I have never drawn the 'Runner' before. so I desided to make this one be the first. this runner is of my design and is heavily inspired by H.R. Giger's Original Alien.
if I ever get the chance to work with H.R. Giger I'd be so excited! Giger got Gipped on ALIEN 3! ADI took complete advantage of him and took his 'Baby' from him! Giger should always be refered to as the creator of the Alien! not ADI, Not Stan Winston, and sure as hell not James Cameron! but H.R. Giger. everybody else just kinda took the Alien and did something to it to make them think it was they'res. and ADI just went too far! they desided to just give him credit on the original and call the Runner they'res. when infact Giger was the one that had designed the runner. he designed it. and ADI just took it from him and changed it.
Anyways. my runner is much more Biomechanical. I felt the Aliens these days look much too fleshy. I also added a canines skull under the dome. the small hand is to show how the hand looks like. the runner also has more caninesque legs and arms. the tail was a modified version of the original's tail. added some of my own touchs and vuala! my version of the Runner.

Ah, my favourite incarnation, after the original of course. This creature was even less exposed than the classic one, so well done once again with the details.
Have you ever seen Giger's original dog alien designs? They are way more disturbing than the scrawny animal ADI came up with. That is something I reccomend you draw.

Hey. I used this as basis for one of my pictures because I really wanted to draw an alien picture. So I kinda copied this one, but I added my own touches to it. I hope you don't mind me uploading it to my DA. I was planning on plugging you and putting your stuff in a link to show that it isnt my original art. btw, if you like some more inspirations, go to my gallary, go to the 'ALIEN' folder and take a look at the 'ALIEN Stuff' pieces I did, you won't find a more detailed and accurate (yet also creative) referance infomation anywere else.

Thank you. That would be awesome to beable to do. I definitely like your style and it's something I may keep practicing. It's not too hard if you have the idea, the right picture(s) to look at. That is it's not too hard until you get to the detail.

I always find it easier to draw the basic shape then start adding the details then start in on extending the detail.

hopefully better. but remember, its gonna take a long time. hell, you might be as good as me in a couple of years.
it took me all my life to get as good as I am now. (I'm 23 now lol) if you keep it up, and with alot of encouragement, practice, and determination, you could probly take half the time to get as good as I am now, maybe even better.

Well I'm 17, almost 18. And hopefully I can get that good. It's definitely something i would like to practice, especially since it's so detailed. I have no doubt it'll take me awhile, but I won't mind it too much. I'll let you know if I use another one of you pictures as a basis for another picture.

to look cute and act vicious is what the alien is supposed to do.
I might work on a high detail drawing of the Chestburster. its probly the easiest. and maybe an Egg. haven't done one of them in a long time.

Nah, I'm a full Alien Artist. Sure I'll draw dinos and other stuff from time to time. but the Alien is my favorite subject.
