Titia, I love how you use the FE program. I hope one day, when your up to it your English tutorial version on FE will be done.

The TX function is the possibility to add a layer in FE.

Cool.. Thanks very much for that info Titia - I will definitely look into it. The photoshop icon thingy in my FE seems to do nothing at all though (I think it is supposed to be a texturizer - which I would love if I knew how it worked...)

In short:
Open FE - render a fractal - click on "Tx" on the menu - a window opens -
load an image as background (just as big as the render) -
uncheck the "infinity area only" box - choose a layer option (like multiply) -
change the "Alpha" box. Just play a bit with these options. Read the warning.
Click "Close".

Save fractal.

Thank you so much Titia... You are such a sweetie to come back to me on this.... just had a quick play and it is something I will definitely have a go at in my next FE session (usually reserved for Saturday Mornings but since this is Easter....)
That really should have been intuitve enough but I guess I never clicked off the infinity option when I tried this first time round

Love the dimensionality this allows, I would say more than texture but I guess that depends on what you load as a background....
