Backstory:
Everest the Mammoth was born to a tribe of Woolly Mammoths in 1650 B.C. Due to the brutal nature of the time, she had to be taught how to fight from her warrior father and her gatherer mother to survive against the early humans and the Sabretooth tigers. When she was separated by her family as a result of a brutal blizzard, the 19-year old mammoth seeked shelter in a cave.

This cave turned out to be an ancient shrine that once belonged to a race that even proceeded hers. Down there was a belt of unknown origin, emblazoned with a snowflake emblem that glowed an ominous blue energy. The mammoth can't help but be drawn to it. The belt would detect the innocence of Everest as it latches itself onto her against her will. It then gifts information to her that sounded unknown at first, but then slowly made sense as the mammoth was able to control the blizzard until it stopped. She would manage to save her family afterwards, gaining the respect from them and the other mammoth tribes, while the predators fear her.

However, this power to control the weather comes at a cost. She has been granted eternal life, the inability to age as she lived for years and years. She even outlived her entire family, as well as others she has befriended. This curse that came with her awesome powers saddened her. Eventually she uses this to her advantage as she lives in Mount Everest to live in solitude as she fears attachment. She also serves as a teacher to help people learn how to defend themselves.

Eventually she met Titra the Kaiju alongside the other members of what is called The Monster Warriors. While Everest can't grow as large as them (though she can make a gigantic ice-based image of herself), she joins them as a member, and helps them train to fight.
