Description An updated version with textures of my Gas Pump. It's green, it's gritty and dirty and got some rust action going on.

Approximately 1000 polys and the hoses are just renderable splines.

Lookin' good, bro. The hose approach is pretty damn smart. I was just thinking you did a kickass job with the believability of it. Nice approach.

Did you count the hoses in your polycount? I'm just curious.

Very nice job though

It doesn't because they're just renderable splines. You could makes spline renderable and adjust the width of the splines. But once you convert them into Editable Poly, it's no longer a spline, thus adding ridiculously to your poly count.

To use something like that in an engine wouldn't you have to convert it to tris anyway though thus adding to your tri/poly count? I'm not sure...but if this is for pre-port, taking something like that should be taken into account...or at least I would think...Mr. W. told me once never use renderable splines cause they add so much to poly count and that lofts are just more efficient and easier to edit...but I don't know what this is for and with or without the hoses it's still a nice-looking model.
