Description Grand Hotel - Mackinac Island, MI

I adored staying at Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel, the place there was charming and so idyllic. The island was a place where you could only get somewhere by foot, horse/carriage or bicycle and the hotel itself was like stepping back into the 20's and a simpler time.

I'm already making mental plans to go back next year and stay a little longer and enjoy even more of the island and everything it has to offer!

LOL I have not, I hadn't even heard of the movie til we planned to go here. My hubby and I will probably watch it sometime so we can point out all the places we got to see.

Thanks!! It took a little trekking through wet, dewy grass but I was so happy for such a beautiful Sunday. Really, the sky was just perfect for the second day!
