The Star Magnolia trees are the first at Nature Realm to begin blooming as they blossom a short while before the Saucer Magnolias but they are just as fragrant as their purple and white relatives. Although the Star Magnolia originates from Japan, it has been naturalized in North America and can be seen in many yards as a small tree or large bush. The blooms will often appear before even the leaves on the tree which makes this a very attractive tree to bring in the spring season.

Magnolia are symbolic of perseverance and love and represent the heart chakra, the center of idealism.
