Thanks! On the outside I said "Cool.." and turned and started taking pictures...on the inside I was squealing "Omg omg omg! A rainbow! I'm gonna get a picture of a rainbow!"

lol, this reminded me that i had a pic of one somewhere. thank you for bringing out this awesome pic! i dont know if youve ever seen one.. but sometimes the two rainbows will get close enough and make a double rainbow did you notice how the colors on the rainbows are opposite each other?

Ha!! I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out...I think I'm going to have to think this through on why this happens. 10 years worth of high school and college science classes should bring something to mind fairly soon...

he said its just the way the sun rays hit the water droplets.. the rainbow acts like a prism or something whatever that means, lol
