Description
Here is another of my macro photos of a peacock feather, after the cats had tried to have their fun with it. I placed it along the arm of my big comfy chair and had only our table lamp to light it. I kept the depth of field on this as shallow as I could because I wanted to get that misty, indistinct look and then under exposed the shot by about 1/3 so it was more shadowy than the bright, brilliant photos of peacock feathers that you normally see out there.Other peacock feather macros I've taken:

Thanks!! I do really like this just for the different tones rather than the "in your face" colors you always see on peacock feathers (you know..like the other two I posted LOL). Glad others appreciate too!

No, lol. They're ALL fine - But this one in particular, because to me, it says; hey, look at how beautiful this is without looking like a pile of blinding Christmas lights!
