Been doing a lot of MOCing lately, and I figured I might as well establish a base line for the upcoming TTV contests, get some outside opinions, and make changes to improve them.
So I decided to do up, Nidiki and Tuyet.

For the design of Nidiki, I really wanted to pull ideas from the 04 DH design, ripping elements strait from that set and implementing it here. This includes his shoulders, scythe, chest, and some general parts that were originally used on that set.
I also added visorak feet on his thighs, as a bit of foreshadowing for the future of this character, eventually getting mutated into a spider like monster.
The scythe also is fully functional similar to his original set, able to extend and retract.
He's pretty simple, essentially being a giant metru reference to himself, that said, I think he turned out well.

For Tuyet, I really had nothing good to go off, aside from the fact that, she's blue with special armor, and she has a barbed broadsword. So I wanted to create something that feels familiar and sinister. The legs and lower torso are pretty basic following the same metru build done a million times over. The chest was were I did have some difficulty, as I would like the Mangai to have different coloured armor. So I ended up settling on Pearl Dark Gray.
After that, it was pretty smooth sailing. Gave here asymmetrical armor at the arms. Something different and gives her some bulk. After that I really had some fun with the build, giving Tuyet a pony tail of connectors, and a custom broadsword.
Overall she feels really unique IMO, and could stand as a respectable Tuyet model.

And the weapons on both are designed so that they can be removed from the hand and both parts can connect together, so they still look good laying around!

For the masks, they are both Galvanized's designs.

Both look sinister enough for these characters, though I'm not 100% happy the mask of Intangibility, may change it if I find something I think fits better.

Anyway those are the two MOCs I did up. I have build tested them, and they can be built without the use of paint or 3d parts outside the masks. So they do classify as purest builds.

As long as you're respectful, I'm open to opinions, discussion and constructive criticism.
