Are you planning to make MegaMan X8 - Sigma?

I am, and I can hardly believe it's already been so long since I drew this one. Life gets busy!

Oddly enough, X7 Sigma was my favorite Sigma battle, even if the rest of the game was average at best (I kinda like X7, but it's not a spectacular game and is certainly flawed). I especially loved the 2nd form!

The Sigma with the badass music:Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr6xkAβ¦
For all the faults of X7, the music man... and I felt that this tune did a pretty good job of being fitting to Sigma's essence. It sounds like someone is about to get thrashed.Β

The first time you fight him was the best fight in the game (best boss track too)Β while his second form was just okay. But honestly though, you fight him in what appears to be a collapsing elevator and next thing you know, your above the earth!?

And it's so sad because the concept of that last boss is so cool.
Megaman X7 is a very mysterious game.

Mysterious? In what way?

Just mysterious in its goofy design, like the collapsing elevator ending above the earth.

Maybe they just ran out of ideas, I dunno. If I remember correctly, I saw a YouTube comment that statedΒ the game was made by another company and not directly under Capcom. Also, it didn't have a very big budget either.

Man I love that form. I haven't drawn it just yet though but I extremely look forward to getting to it.
I was starting with the first form of each game, except X5 since that actual first form is his floating head, and I worked X2's final form in there because it was pretty simple. The first form of X8 is Copy Sigma so that'll be up before the form you're talking about. I have a sketch for Copy Sigma going but it's not finished yet.

I loved his design and theme in X7. It's too bad everything was a mess.

I really wish the Maverick Hunter X series kept going. After they redid the first game I was already thinking, "Oh man.. they could fix everything wrong with X5-7 when they get back up to them!" Of course we know now that we never got that lucky.

I've been coming and going with this piece - some nice details I'd like to point out.
I like that the barrel of his gun is facing away from the frame and the perspective applied to it. Not that often that level of detail is given to a pose like this.
I like how you rendered his boots. The detailing is given the same level of attention as larger forms are - Even the kneepads and the ankle cylanders lok like they can hold volume.
Speaking of, the cylanders. They're everywhere and you did a good job considering where they laid.
Nice job.

Of all the Sigmas I've drawn so far this one took the most time, and the areas you mention are mostly the reasons why. So thank you very much for the kind words.

I didn't think Mighty Number 9's final boss was a bad boss, per se. It was just tedious and very underwhelming as a finale'. But yeah, I guess in a certain way I am agreeing with you.
