There is no such thing as love at first sight, there is only ATTRACTION at first sight

"Love at first sight doesnβt exist. Love takes time and love takes work at the very least you have to know the other person and you literally have no idea who or what I am."Β

Same. You need to know a person before you fall in love with them.

I find (and this is just me) that people who believe in love at first sight confuse love with sexual attraction. Two completely different things.Β

I only felt love at first sight once on my life, that was when i saw my mom on first seconds of my birth
Then, i never felt love at first sight again

This "love at first sight" is just being attracted to someone. Attraction does NOT equal love.
I think you two should be friends for AT THE VERY, VERY LEAST a month until you two hook up.

Love takes time.
Because to love someone, you need to actually know them.

It's more like infatuation at first sight, some relationships start that way and slowly develop into love..

Agreed. In fact, the best loves I find are the ones that are the most unexpected and take both people by surprise, because they didn't THINK they'd fall in love with each other.Β

"Love" is something that develops over time by trusting and respecting another person. when people say "love at first sight" they usually mean thinking "dayuum they hot as hell" aka lust.

I agree. You can become infatuated at first sight, but real love takes time.

indeed, love at first sight does not exist outside of the movies, and even then there are plenty of movies that go out of there way to demonstrate how ridiculous love at first sight (Possible irony, most of them are made by Disney)

I kind of agree with it. It tells us that appearance is more important than their will and selfless behavior.

Not to say that love can't be magical, but you have to get to know someone for the magic to spark.

Love at first sight only judges the appearrance, which is rude. Like saying (ex.) "Jeanette, you're hot.. Wanna get married?"

Thats so true.
You grow to love someone through time, not just by some random sight. -__-

Well to Shakespeare's defense that was written around the time when that kind of behavior was considered acceptable.
